Audit – first time or stuck

To complete an audit takes an understanding of what the auditors are looking for, and the time and determination to get that information. My career started at the top of the audit profession with 6 years at Price Waterhouse.

I understand what the auditors want, and need. I can talk their language to meet their needs to complete either a first-time audit, an audit that is taking too long or running up the bill.

M&A

Buy – Strategic buyers need to quantify and reduce risk with thoughtful due diligence. Working with the entrepreneurs I have done due diligence in several industries, identifying key risks and quantifying them for the decision-maker. Risk includes how to integrate after the sale and I have the experience to guide that process as well.

Sell – Entrepreneurs’ at some point need an exit strategy. Preparing the accounting records and metrics before going up for sale can increase the selling price by dramatic amounts. Also, what costs to exclude because they will not continue after the sale can increase the return on the sale.
